8. Work Less, Make More – James Schramko.
Work Less, Make More focuses on BOTH increasing your income AND reducing your hours – thereby increasing your Actual Hourly Rate productivity.
7. How to save an hour every day… Guaranteed – Michael Heppell.
This is one of the best time management books I’ve read, full of simple, practical “hacks” that you can deploy right now to “save” time – and make yourself more productive.
6. Atomic Habits – James Clear.
It pains me to say it – but this is THE go-to book on habits and routines (yes, even better than Routine Machine!).
5. The 12-week year – Brian P Moran.
Since 2015, I’ve been following 90-day plans. I’ve found 90 days is the goldilocks for time management and productivity.
4. The 4-hour work week – Tim Ferriss.
This isn’t REALLY about working four hours a week – it’s about working a LOT fewer hours than you currently do – and being more effective.
3. Getting Things Done – David Allen.
Successful people get things done. Really successful people get lots of things done. David Allen’s GTD framework shows you how.
2. Deep Work – Cal Newport.
Deep Work is about the following formula: High quality work produced = time spent, multiplied by intensity of focus. It’s why I write books and blogs, not tweets and posts.
1. The 80/20 Principle – Richard Koch.
Most activity is a waste of time. Most of the things you do, don’t actually matter. Everything is disproportionate – you don’t get what you give. A few things are important. Most are not. Effort and reward are only loosely linked. Find the 80/20, and go deep on the 20%.
